High resolution optical fibre production is a substantial consumer of material that is required to offer rare versatility.

Our high density graphites are well suited to this application due to their machineability, high purity, high oxidation resistance together with low exfoliation characteristics. This is a combination not readily found in other materials. Applications include Resistance Heaters, Induction Susceptors and Furniture.

Beyond solid graphites we also provide a range of insulation materials. Our products offer high stability, low shrinkage and low outgas performance. We can supply flexible felts and rigid board in a variety of standard forms and offer bespoke service where required. Insulations are also available coated to reduce emittance and dusting.
